Wendy Kveck

Wendy Kveck is a visual artist working across the mediums of painting, performance and video. Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, she currently lives and works in Las Vegas, Nevada. She holds a BFA in Painting from the University of Iowa and recently received her MFA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In 2003, she received a Jackpot Grant from the Nevada Arts Council, funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts. In 2006 she participated in Art New York through the New School, and is a 2007 nominee for the Joan Mitchell MFA Grant. Her work has been exhibited nationally in Nevada and Chicago.
